Hello all, Many thanks again for meeting with Steve Brendel and me about the American Bottom Watershed Plan. The week of the Open House events has finally arrived! We want to be sure that the word is getting out there about these events, so please SHARE the flyer attached via email and Facebook, and let people know by word of mouth. The County sent out this news release about the events.
Open House #1: Pontoon Beach Wednesday, September 28, 6-8pm Pontoon Beach Village Hall 1 Regency Parkway, Granite City, IL 62040
Open House #2: Granite City Thursday, September 29, 6-8pm Nelson Hagnauer Township Hall 2060 Delmar Ave, Granite City IL 62040
We would like to have a large crowd of attendees at both events; I'm sure there are a lot of flooding stories people want to tell that will be important in shaping the watershed planning process.
