The issues you mention about 203 are the fault of our beloved IDOT. You do indeed see the same along 157 in Edwardsville and Collinsville. I agree with you on the Bamboo Bistro. If the city lets Jan Gitcho continue to hold that corner hostage or worse, expand his nickel and dime car lot, our city leaders lack guts. That corner should be taken just like some of the others were along that route when Walgreens was built. If the city inspectors would do their job, they could find that building violates many codes. Our new Economic Developer picked right up where the last one left off and that is picking up a check and doing nothing. It seems as if city hall has now thrown in the towel in trying to push proper development. Very sad.
