    Everyone should get to live in a good neighborhood with decent neighbors (hopefully GOOD). But, what do you ("you") do to make that happen?

    Do you wave at people in your neighborhood as they/you drive/walk by?

    As you are jogging/walking around the park, do you at minimum non verbally say, "hello"?

    Those are easy things to do. But I don't think a lot of people do them. Try it sometime.

    Also, as far as financial understanding goes, what we need to do is, along side Mathematics we need to teach basic understanding of taxes as well as advanced basic financial acumen to children coming up.

    Just a couple of my thoughts.

    Yes, I believe seeds were sown for many many years (decades even)...but a little neighborly kindness will give some sunshine to those budding plants.

    Try it sometime. Just a wave, even if you've never seen them before, when they walk or drive past your house. Maybe even a "how's it going?" You'll be surprised.
