I know everyone is short on money these days, but, I have sold three of my rental properties last week, and i might add, at a reduced price than I thought i would be selling them for. Our curbs, sidewalks, and our entire infrastructure is crumbling, and fast. I am a fan of our current mayor, he probably is doing the best that he can, and I like the fact that he lives in the old part of town, but our town is in dire need of work. I have a condo in port charlotte florida, a very small town i might add. The wife and I was eating in a small outdoor cafe, and a city truck pulled up. I watched them repair a small fracture in the sidewalk, mix concrete in a bucket, and it was fixed in 20 minuets. I asked him what the deal was, he replied,"didnt want anyone to fall". I was astounded. Im not knocking our town, we all want it to succeed, especially me, as ive got a lot of property involved here. Just wondering what everyones thought were? I went over to the street dept. a year ago with some problems, they looked at me like I was crazy.
