Gotta disagree OP. There's a reason one must qualify for a home mortgage. When those standards became to lax because of lender's greed people who were normally a risk were approved. There were always be people who will bite off more than they can chew, which is exactly why the more stringent qualifiers were put in place.
I also disagree that most foreclosures are in "the 250k range in places like Emerald Meadows" -- where did you get that stat?
