Your enthusiasm and compassion for animals is a little underwhelming. Not to mention your screwed up logic.
Touched a nerve did I?
I have no lost pets, so no need to search.
But had I, it sure would be nice to be able to click on pictures of the population of dogs or cats you have in your facility, instead of waiting for a returned phone call or chancing that they might end up getting the big dirt nap.
And this isn't a website you mention, this is a PAGE within a web site that requires NO updating unless a phone number changes.
This is 2016, and only an idiot or an idiotic organization, or in this case, an idiotic city department is reluctant to participate in the digital information age.
A quick pic of a dog they pick up posted to the internet might result in owners being found almost immediately if they identified their animal on the web, or it could easily result in an injured dog laying on the cold floor of that death pit for several days, like what happened not all that long ago.
So Frances, unwad your panties or boxers, and maybe think outside of the box instead of the "we've always done it this way" attitude. You just might get blessed by reuniting a scared animal with their owner.
