Always record your police interactions if you can. Regardless if the police tell you it's illegal to record them, remember they are legally allowed to lie and it is perfectly legal to record the police in public. It is your right.
Some things that have changed since this video was made is you can not simply remain silent, you have to specifically say I you wish to exercise your right to remain silent. And police can no longer prolong a stop any longer other than to deal with the traffic infraction in order to bring a dog to perform a sniff test with a dog.
