Don't let something 400 years ago effect your actions today? Little off on # of years but get point. What about a book over 2000 years old used as reason to discriminate against your fellow man? Hope all those who agree with All Lives Matter movement also agree that all lives deserve respect. If 2000 year old book tells you to discriminate against people who are looking for happiness it's time to stop following that verse like Christians have stopped following other verses from same book.... Shell fish, pork, shaving, Sabbath, makeup, bitter water, etc.... The Church has come around to Earth not being center of universe, dinosaurs, text written in non Latin, ownership of book allowed by non Priests, etc....
God is loving and understanding and merciful, time those who follow Him to put those values in action
