Even if the GCHS is unable to muster a team of their own, this is a good event for ANY student in the district interested in working in the Computer Science fields, college bound or not. If you can't seem to get a team together, perhaps join another High School aged team, or a College team, or even a Pro team. Many existing teams (including my own) will be looking for extra members at the start of the event. One of the goals of this organization to get kids interested in technology and entrepreneurship.
For those interested, high school age or otherwise, that have not participated in a Hackathon before they will be having an info session Thursday September 3rd, from 6-7pm at CIC, (near the new Ikea building)
