To almost three times what it was? That seems a bit questionable to me. Two additional part time employees and they are paying so much into the pension fund that it nearly triples? I didn't realize part time employees were eligible for a pension? And the extra staffing in the assessor's office was needed why? She has a full time deputy assessor and a full time administrative assistant already, and maybe if she put in the required hours to hold her elected position, additional staffing would not be required. We are paying a part-time assessor a full time assessor's salary, and now for additional employees above what has been there historically? How sweet that must be. As a taxpayer I am highly offended that she was handed another public position in a different city and allowed to work a few hours a week in the township with the aid of two new employees in addition to the two full time employees in that office. I wonder what the financial bottom line is for her to run that office, or it to be ran in her continuous absence? I can only conclude regarding the "decrease in salaries" that was reported in the paper, that her salary and the salary of the Highway Commissioner is zero. Funny budget, funny business. Lots of spending and greed, greed and more greed.
