At one time there was an "academic" watch list...I think it had to do with The No Child Left Behind...not sure, but I believe that that standard in no longer used....
At that time a parent could request another school...my understanding that most, if not all, the schools were on that list....
I believe to get a transfer...you had to request a school not on the list then the new school would have to have openings (so not to create overcrowded schools or classrooms)....
Not sure thou...I think I would call the Board Office for any information....
