I think the real issue is.. for the younger generation, gardening is not cool.
It takes a person with a passion to really care. Every home has potential and not everything is so unaffordable. People give things away on craigslist all the time. I'm actually getting quite a bit of my stuff for free this season.
I'd be willing to split my hostas and help someone out or other plants.
I heard there is a garden club here... how does one join?
