Great question Elroy. Let's see.
You don't get paid even though people think you do.
You have to go to numerous meetings and are expected to go to most school functions.
You get bombarded with phone calls asking for special favors for someone's kid, griping about the coach not playing the right shortstop or the teacher not grading on the curve.
When there's a job opening you get hounded by people who want that job. No matter who you hire it will be because of nepotism in the minds of those who don't get hired.
If there's a strike you get threats and are taunted by union members.
You do get to scrutinize budgets and spending even though no one thinks you do. You're open for questions and suggestion but mostly get whining and b###hing.
I got it. You get to ride in an open convertible for the homecoming parade. I knew I would figure it out. Personally I think these folks need their heads examined. LOL.
