    I have pondered over this decision more than I have in my 35 years as a home owner. If I had to vote today I don't think I'd vote for it.
    I really hate doing so and it will have been the only tax hike I will have voted against.

    I just don't beleive that the board and teachers have done everything they can to stave off what they say may happen.

    I know many folks who work in city and county government who have taken 0% increases to their annual income to hold the line on spending and remain employed while maintaining services to the tax payers. Sadly, I'm just not feeling it with the school district.

    One decision that I have made is to not support any incumbent running for the board. I think it's time to give someone else a chance. It's nothing personal and they all seem nice but I did the same thing in the November election.
