I alleged nothing. Merely pointing out a convenient loophole in the district's reporting practices, that is apparently being questioned (along with several other points) by their paid auditor.
And as taxpayers, it would only seem reasonable that you and Clancy both would take exception with the monies we are talking about being omitted, intentionally, from the financial report filed with the state, audited by the auditors, and handed off to the people whose taxes pay for these things.
Aren't any expenditures paid to "POST employees" by our district, public information?
Why the secrecy? Even after the auditor is expressing concern?
What would be the need to exclude this information that apparently is reported per standard accounting procedures, except by our school district?
You don't find that questionable?
Can you offer ONE SINGLE PLAUSIBLE explanation as to why the district didn't / doesn't report these expenditures in the financial report?
As a taxpayer, only one thing comes to mind, they are hiding something.
And if they are hiding expenditures to POST employees, there is a reason for it. And I'm not at all convinced it's not something illegal or inappropriate.
And they are threatening doom and gloom on the district if we don't give them more of our money!
Why? Explain where our money has went, HONESTLY, AND OPENLY, no hidden or omitted information. That's all I want.
