And this is exactly why the auditors have made a point of clarifying this in their latest report, that OUR DISTRICT DOES NOT REPORT any post employment financial information other than pension.
It's right there in the auditor's report. Which means to me, when retirement comes, they do not have to include any of the big fat checks they pay out from accrued sick days.
And why are teachers and administrators bargaining for sick days in the first place?
THEY ARE SALARIED EMPLOYEES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which means, a salaried employee's check remains the same whether they work sixty hours of sixteen.
No overtime, no docking! SO WHAT THE HELL?
The sick day crap is just a little "off the books" savings account kicker paid AFTER POST EMPLOYMENT....which the district does not account for in their books, clearly explained in the auditor's report.
Which means the financial report submitted by the district is not only inaccurate, but intentionally so. READ THE AUDITOR'S REPORT!!!
