Check out this link. It gives the contract information for all the union people who work in the district. For some reason the contract information stops at the 2013-2014 school year. Guess they didnt want the public to see the new contracts negotiated last year. I wonder why. Good and informative reading right here. While browsing I noticed that the cafeteria workers only have to contribute ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS towards the premium for their spouse and family's monthly medical insurance. WHO GETS A DEAL LIKE THAT THESE DAYS??????????? What no-brain negotiated those kind of terms? With most family coverage for medical insurance, the premiums are usually minimum a thousand bucks a month. And they are only paying a hundred? And they get EIGHTEEN paid holidays, and a nine month work year. Is this merely ONE example of ways to save money? You guys have to read through these things. LOTS OF FAT TRIMMABLE JUST FROM A FEW PAGES IN THIS UNBELIEVABLE CONTRACT. Look at their pay scale. To heat up burritos. Life must be sweet. SLOPPY JOES! SLOP, SLOPPY JOES!
