Opie, living in GC all these years and knowing how this district operates, hoping is one thing, but do you honestly believe your statement about no salary increases until the debt is paid off is realistic? Not sure why I asked, we all know the real answer to that. I don't blame you for trying to save your investment in this town. Luckily, I was able to get out before it got too bad and sold my place for more than I paid for it. Still wasn't nearly enough to buy an equal house in current location. With this mess and the news about the Mill and other many issues, I just don't see GC surviving. Maybe you should have followed up when you were talking about moving up the hill not that long ago. Also, I believe the district is using scare tactics when they talk about cutting band, sports, and theater. No way Bev on the board will let anything happen to the Drama dept. as long as she has a breath in her body.
