Save money now, kids (can't get into good colleges/ get good jobs) and the community (falling property values, more blight) pay later. I too believe it's a 2 way street, may lose jobs without possible concessions, I do not know when the next contract expires. But nothing is worse than balancing the budget on the hard working teachers, custodians, cooks etc, and the management doesn't sacrifice too
