A couple of quick thoughts. The mayor can not give himself a raise. Only the council can do that. Secondly, they can't do that for a seated mayor. Do you have a background in business management, planned unit development or zoning? If so, I will put in a good word for you with folks I do know at city hall. I'd love nothing better than for a young person with those kinds of attributes to get involved. I have a major investment here in property and I'd like to protect it. I still want to know how you would fix the problems. I always hear people slam the leadership but I don't ever hear the methods and plans they would use to fix things. I think it's a fair question. I've asked it in a reasonable manner.
