The thing that stinks about this is that it was reported that the family would be told of the decision in the afternoon and the public told at 8 p.m. Yet, he reacts as if he's just hearing it. The CNN article says "immediately after the release", yet it looks like night in the video. Did they not inform the family when they said they would, or what? Did I miss something?

This whole thing smells. Why did the media, when this thing first happened, emphasize that an 18 year old unarmed African American was shot dead by a white policeman...with not a peep in defense of Officer Wilson from the police for months? Why did we just recently learn that 7 African American's eyewitness testimony support that Michael Brown appeared to attack officer Wilson? (Testimony from those supporting Michael Brown turned out their testimony was at the very least questionable, if not out and out lying, yet their stories were all we heard prior to the release). Why did Nixon not send the National Guard for hours after the burning started?

This whole thing stinks, and the racism on BOTH sides sickens me. None of us ever heard of Michael Brown or Darren Wilson before this mess happened, yet so many both black and white know just what happened and are so friggin' sure their own race would never do anything so vile. Oh, we're all victims, aren't we?
It's disgusting. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, we ALL have a little Michael Brown and Darren Wilson in all of us (and I don't mean race). Maybe the failure to recognize that is the problem.
