The NFL is out of control. Suspensions for some things, not others. Penalties for excessive celebrations depending on who the player is. Now today they say these players were only acting under their first amendment rights.
I guess given that if a player wants to wear a hood over his helmet in support of the KKK, that's going to be accepted. Clearly the NFL is every bit as much afraid of this issue as guys like Nixon and Obama. America is being run by wimps people.
I've not been much of a Rams fan since the Warner days. That team had class. This particular team gets penalized for more stupidity and cheap shots than any team I know of. The exhibition by these players yesterday was just more of that same no class mentality and Jeff Fisher condones it by allowing it to happen.
Can you imagine if a coach like Ditka or Landry would have seen this from his players?
