Let's be frank here: The American media did more to promote this trial to the average American than anything.
Normally, nobody would give a crap. There's nothing new under the sun: Mothers are on trial every day for killing their own baby.
This particular case was ramped up and promoted to increase viewer ratings, pure and simple. Its like a reality show with a simple sacrificial target that everyone can hate.
I HATE CASEY ANTHONY. See how much thought that takes?
And everyone who bought into the show knew how it would end. She would fry.
Nancy Grace did everything but flash a 'SHE'S GUILTY' banner at the bottom of the screen during her spittle-flecked broadcast.
And WHOOPS...She's a free woman less than a week from now.
The prosecution royally fooked this up.
The only thing that frightens me more than the Casey Anthony verdict is the angry, torch-wielding crowd of so-called Americans who promise 'hell-fire and brimstone' for someone who was found innocent of the charges brought against her in the American justice system.
Perhaps justice can be served in America by pouring gasoline on Casey Anthony and tossing a lit match on her in a public square.
The scary thing? I'm sure that's a viable option with my fellow citizens.
