Abortion is a very personal matter. Most women who chose abortion tell very few people about it, so family and friends do not become attached to the unborn child, nor even know of its existence.
Casey Anthony may be an exception, but your question wasn't specifically about her. It was about the difference between a child dying in or out of the womb. Keep in mind, I'm a man!
So pretend I was a woman who got pregnant unexpectedly. I might tell my best friend and the father, but choose abortion. Bless the poor unborn child, but he/she didn't know the breath of life.
Now pretend I was a woman who got pregnant and chose to become a mother by actually giving birth and caring for the child.
Then, I realized being a mother was not suitable for me and I chose to kill my child. There is a HUGE difference!
So now you tell me, did Caylee experience pain, hurt, confusion, etc.? Probably, YES.
Would a child in the womb experience the same feelings? Probably NO.
THAT is the difference. Neither decision is correct, but one is certainly more humane.
