This song does do a little mixing of God and Country, but it has a very positive message. I do not regret mixing the two, but I am cognizant of the fact that some are here that do not see it the same way...and thank God (or thank Goodness) we live in a land where we can see it many different ways!
(I did not read the speech beneath the song, but it was delivered by a pretty good guy, but I just claim the song as the point of interest for the link.)
Can't read music and really want to sing along -- because it is a beautiful song---
