I'm not going down the road of race on this. If you think it's tied to the Obama Administration, and some things were, such as the Senate Seat, it's not at all racist. I believe the electorate of Illinois spoke to the fact that just because the Democratic party has this bad apple in the bunch that the entire bushel basket was not corrupted. Quinn was Blago's running mate, but people could see that there was no energy between these two, especially two or three years into his administration. You might not be directing the comment about race toward me, I'll give the benefit of the doubt that you are not. I don't believe going after the decisions of the Obama administration is at all racist. In a way, my view on race is not too far from yours. It's a little different, sure. But I would love to just look at 'people' as people no matter who they are. I think that is a stretch for you, Metal, to take this topic and then bring race into it. I see your point and where you may be going with this. But whatever energy I brought into the conversation, I am not contributing further to it. It doesn't need to bleed into every thread.
