Okay, I have to sorta agree with 3Dee on this one. Yes, they were breaking the law, but that kind of raid could have put U.S. citizens in danger. The article even said some ran in panic. What if they had been armed or trampled someone just to get away? It's one thing when you chase down one or two people at a crowded event like that, it's another when you are rounding up groups of people. Even just walking around, you have to be careful of little ones at festivals. I can't imagine the chaos when people are being chased by police. Yes, the parents need to be aware, but even then, people can get pushed and shoved.
I also think that they could have let parents say goodbye, at least the ones not avoiding arrest. Yes they are technically criminals, but their intentions were to make a better life for their family. I think if there is a way to make things easier on kids, when it isn't their fault, then we should do it. A little kindness goes along way, especially these days when so many are all about "me."
