Some of my friends and family members and I went to see the production of Mame at the High School. I have a couple of comments to make some good and some bad. First the good... I think it is wonderful that our city has a community theatrical company. Bravo to Summerstage and to all who help to make these productions. Now for the bad... I was extremely disappointed to witness the inexcusable antics of a teacher from this district openly bashing the production, the directorial team and the good men, women and children who give of their time to entertain us. It was sad to watch as he went throughout the auditorium making fun and for-warning the audience of S**T production, (In his words). I for one throughly enjoyed the show and can't wait to see another. I just hope I won't see this teacher and his negative attitude. P.S. The worst part is, this teacher is over the theater department at the high school. After what I saw I can't imagine that he inspires anyone!
