    This worked very well for me.

    For cold therapy, a physical therapist recommended using a bag of frozen peas.

    The frozen peas get colder and forms to the area of pain much quicker.

    Apply for ten minute periods and do not apply frozen bag directly to skin...wrap in a dish towel.

    Be sure to mark the bag...after some thawing and refreezing you don't want to use for cooking.
