This question if for a young relative of mine, if someone claims a person as a dependent and basically did not provide his support, how does he go about reporting this to the IRS. His return came back that someone had already claimed him as a dependent so he could not claim himself. This person is a greedy step mother, who says she didn't, but someone did.
