He is wrong if only your narrow view really were reality.
I mean there are not just Muslim terrorist groups, but right wing fringe and white supremecist groups, left wing radical terrorists, radical black, latino and asian organizations, there are Zionist and Muslim interests, as well as Christian based groups.
I could also scour the internet and pull up my sources just the same as Machine or anyone else to show that the vast majority of Muslims here are peaceful, patrotic, law-abiding Americans just trying to make it.
You wouldn't even accept mainstream moderate sources -- and I of course cannot accept fringe right wing sites based on fear mongering.
It's just incredible how people who either don't look like us, don't speak like us, or don't worship suddenly become more of a threat to us than those who do.
Any stat can be trumped up to play on peoples' fears - and of course we really know what the deal is and we know what they really mean when they say the 'American' way of life was threatened.
Well the only American way of life that was threatened began in 1492 and was pretty much obliterated by 1900.
The rest of it is the Immigrant way of life.
I watched 'The Gangs of New York' last night for about the third time - and the more clear it is to me -- this sentiment against those who do not look like us or worship like us is not so different from those nativists from 1846.
