I have only seen one thread dealing with comments about the outages. None of the people were getting wild and silly as is the norm after a storm. Even with the extremely hazardous conditions of heavy rain and lightening, all of the various emergency services were very efficient in their communications with various entities. Police, fire, emt's, and AMREN were all doing a tremendous job. My scanner was on throughout the night and day before and after the damages were inflicted on our entire area. Usually everyone wants to "b###h". I for one want to give a thumbs up for a job well done by everyone involved. AMEREN and crews brought in from outside our area to assist did a fantastic job.
