I'm not saying they have to organize, under state and federal laws they have the right to organize
This is precisely what Gov. Walker's bill says. State workers can join a union if they so choose, they are simply no longer forced to. It also states that the State will no longer collect union dues and administer them (saving millions in labor costs) if a worker joins the union the simply have to write their own check for dues and mail it in. The bill also states that the union can bargain for wage increases up to the rate of inflation, any thing beyond that requires a VOTE by the taxpayers to be approved. Simple, fair and reasonable in my opinion.
