i am not christian, but society and family force me to go along with the christian holiday. if i were to try to not participate, i would be questioned, challenged, and judged.
so...
rather than quit christmas, i instead justify the celebration of this day by appreciating the core message of what the holiday SHOULD be, or what i learned from growing up in a christian home..."the spirit of giving."
so i donated alot of money to charity and charitable causes to help others...and i didnt get anything for christmas from anyone because i insisted i did not care about material possessions and i was not getting them anything....and i am extremely happy.
this "christmas" has been less about presents and more about good deeds, generosity, and random acts of kindness.
just wish to share much warmth and love with everyone. be safe and do not drink and drive.
