I will tell my husband to let his coworkers know about this. One of his coworkers had a work related injury to his arm that his doctor said required a certain surgery. The workman's comp doctor, who never even saw him, said he needed carpel tunnel surgery, so that is all that the insurance would pay for. So he had the carpel tunnel surgery and it didn't help. After getting a lawyer involved, they finally paid for the surgery that he actually needed. He was out of work for a whole year because of their stupidity. With his regular insurance, he could have been back to work in about 3 months. It would have cost them a lot less money if they had listened to his regular doctor. It's crazy!
