I am a Soldier in the Army and I personally think it should go away. Who are we to judge someone elses lifestyle? Many gay partners loose out on alot of benefits because of this rule and it's crap. I know plenty of gay men and women who serve and who would be right there besides me fighting the same battle regardless of their sexuality. Here at Fort Bliss, quite a few Soldiers are openly gay and and their peers don't judge. So why should you?
