You bet you will get a solid yes on my complaining over anyone to continue to rake in that kind of money for a once or twice a month meeting. But to toss health insurance on top of that, is an obscene abuse of tax dollars!
If Randy should be put back on that board, he at least has the knowledge and background to support him being there.
Privileged means having special rights or advantages that most people do not have. This can be due to wealth, high social class, or other special circumstances, but you knew exactly what was meant by this statement. Yes, they do pay taxes, and provide jobs, but that does not entitle them to not have to foot the bill for health coverage the same as everyone else.
I am not saying that this couple does not deserve everything they have worked hard for. But I damn sure am saying that if they are being provided health insurance at the taxpayer's expense, this decision needs to be revisited, and corrected.
This double dipping, or tag teaming husband and wife duos on these boards should not be allowed. It sure doesn't pass the sniff test.
