Mike Pagano among others like Don Moore were out there waist deep in water during that flood. Where was Viessman? Where was Luehmann? Maybe Viessman was in the office helping all the people who were flooded out of their homes and had no electric with the emergency money he was talking about during the debate. Nope scratch that.
It was Viessman who brought up the flooding issues first in the debate then and only then did Presswood rip him a new one by citing the list of resources who he would interact with as supervisor to get grants, funds or services to help alleviate the flooding problem. He then went on to describe his personal involvement and maintenance of the many creeks that handle the water over flow.
I think his job as a responsible township supervisor would be to initiate as much help as possible, not to financially sponsor the remedy with dollars from the township because that is NOT one of the financial functions of the township.
This is my take on it the other guy your talking to can speak for himself.
