I will advocate for the millennials -- maybe because if I were 10 years younger, I'd be in their milieu --- some of them have been fortunate to land good work --- (or in the area we're speaking -- know somebody) --- and be able to do well for themselves for even a starter home.
I think there are plenty who have to constantly look for work and are under a mountain of debt from their schooling - that are still looking for affordable options.
Affordability can be a selling point --- but some cannot wait to accrue savings and paying things off before building the bigger house. Peoples' habits at the end of the day dictate behavior.
We can't all have the habits of the proud generation who made their corner of GC and other towns a proud testament of the American dream.
If only we quit electing Baby Boomers and force all of them in politics and in the world to retire en mass so we can unscrew the world they created. : )
