Elroy, i understand your thoughts with only 29% of the people voting, but even of those 29% id venture 3/4ths of them are voting for their friend or for a candidate whose children went to school with their children or that play soccer together. That is precisely why we have all these attacks, its to reach the remaining voters who dont know any of the people running in one way or another. I know in the not so distant past that at least one Pontoon Beach candidate was virtually ran out of town because of the coordinated attacks he was forced to endure. (No, not the former, long time mayor) Its sad and pathetic, but it isnt going to be changing any time soon.
You NEVER want a serious crises to go to waste. And what i mean by that is
an opportunity to do things that you could not do before.
