If the label troll doesn't fit, I apologize in advance.
Maybe my definitions are not accurate:
Honorable people with whom I disagree --- People who have a different point of view, even people who can be funny - or at times biting... but who are willing to dialogue, who are willing to think for themselves... People, who though they disagree, still see the good in the other even if they have different idea. Honorable people still see that though a person has a different point of view, they still love their country and can still be patriots.
Trolls --- People who are intolerant of any disagreement, who have a natural belief that their side can do no wrong and anyone who disagrees with them can do no right. Those who disagree are further lumped with whiners and protestors --- perhaps called snowflakes on a good day and 'libtards' amongst the most mean-spirited of them. (That doesn't apply to you, but to many who pollute comment sections.)
Those are my definitions -- and if the description doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. I was already lumped in a subgroup in the first instance and perhaps I lumped back in the second...
So getting that out of the way....
Why would you feel that you would say "Not in My Country" to a group of 1.5 billion people who hold a common belief?
What makes you any different than nativitists of the 1850's that didn't care much for Catholics, Eastern Europeans, Jews....etc....etc?
Why do you feel that we should allow people to starve to death or risk being killed? Why should we feign what is morally right - because of what we fear?
Penultimately -- So are we REALLY the home of the brave when we fear to lend a helping hand? Especially when most refugees are women and children?
Lastly -- Do all lives matter? Afterall, that was the retort to 'Black Lives Matter.' I guess that was hypocrisy as well.
So anyway, those are just starters -- it's a broad topic, so maybe it just needs to begin in getting to the root of your fears and your hatred toward Muslims...and maybe that's where the conversation could begin....maybe.
