In August of 2002 my father passed away, i know that many of you knew him. He always spoke highly of the teamsters and wanted us to know what a great honor it was to be a member. It has took me 2 years to deal with my anger with local 118. The reason? My father was not givin the respect he deserved from the union conserning his pension and death benifits that should have been available to my mother , basically she was screwed. But the fact that after over 30+ years not one teamster showed at his wake was a slap in the face, especially when Frank Pasato was informed. He had always went above and beyond for his fellow teamsters. I just wanted you to know that one of the best teamsters members was completely forgotten. Please don't allow this to happen to someone else.
