I'd like to offer my own personal Congradulations to Local 601 and to all the employees of the Diamond Walnut Company in Stockton California for their Hard Faught 13 year Battle for the right to Vote for Union Representation that Diamond Walnut Bitterly oppossed. I feel a certain gratification in this Battle as I remember back when this fight started the employees of this Company along with Local 601 took their Fight across the Country asking Teamsters all over this Country for support. When they came to New York a Bunch of us on our own Time from Local 802, 550, and several other New York Locals along with 601 and the Diamond Employees Picketed The Kraft Corporate Headquarters located in Westchester County just North of New York City. At that time the Diamond Employees were already fighting for a right to join a Union for a few years maybe longer. So after 13 Years it's Great to see that they have finally won dispite every effect by the Company to deny them this right. Congrats to Local 601
