Hello Brother Gary,
The amount reduced from your check was due to the change in the federal income tax deduction schedule.
The work pay tax deduction we all received in 2008 was scheduled to end in 2011.
Most w2 wage earners were offset by the reduction in social security,
but retirees don't pay social security so we now see less in our pension check.
