His name was John J. Whalen from Yonkers NY. He passed away in 1951 in a VA Hospital in the Bronx. I have been
trying to have a Brass Holder placed
on his grave since he always put flags
on the grave of veterans when he was
alive. I have no records of any kind.
I was wondering if there was any way
I could get some sort of record from
the Teamster? He drove for Ben Franklin
Trucking Co. Yonkers NY I have tried the VA, they want a number either from his draft card or discharge. I have nothing.
