My grandfather (union member for 43 years) received a letter stating that his local CTDU Independent merged with Local 710 and the brilliant Trustees allowed this merge without securing the future of their pension benefits. Now their benefits are in danger of being lost. Many seniors live off of this check and not much else. If anyone has any current information on steps being taken to secure their futures please write back. This is very concerning to me. Thank You
