Locating a possible member

I am trying to find someone that I'm not even sure would have been a member. I'm not familiar with this organization or how these work, so please bear with me. I'm looking for someone that worked for Bekins in Pomona, CA. He would be about 71, now, more or less. Would he have been a member of a union, and if so, how do I find out which one? Thanks in advance for ANY help anyone can provide.
