Posted by devs On May 26th, I finished my meditation and a couple of hours later as I was browsing the net there was a flash in my mind that something is going to happen just that min. To my amazement I heard the door knob being turned a couple of times...BTW,our dog who was lying under my feet did not hear a thing. After a couple of weeks after this incident, the thread in the oil lamp that is on the altar gets moved almost every other night...(this is the room where I pray and meditate). Once however, a thread disappeared and reappeared a day later. BTW there has been no other bizzare incidents in the house, not even a sound at night. Our dog seems to be calm and happy as he always is. At this point of time, it happens only when we are asleep 'coz I check on it during the day and even before we go to sleep. As I was scared after i heard the door knob sound, I have stopped meditating, as I'm not too sure what I'm stepping into. At the first place, me meditating was done with the pure purpose of spiritual growth, working on the chakras and relaxation. I did not call upon any passed over relative or anyone I knew at the time I meditated. Should I continue to meditate or should I practice meditation after taking some classes.. Has anyone got any advice for me..what should I be doing..I'm just getting too stresed out about this. I'm scared and not scared at the same time. Thanks for helping

Hi everyone. I have never had any spirit communication experiencs until I started meditating quite regularly 3-4 months ago..(or things could have happend so subbtely that I missed noticing them) though I believe that I have had some mild ESP occurences (intuitions, guessing who is calling...so on and so forth) for a while. Anyways, the first time something really striking that happened was on May 26th...it was full moon day and as it is a very auspicious day for Hindus,my MIL asked me to meditate at a specific time of the day. Also, just want to add that my MIL is into pranic(energy) healing.
