Posted by Introspective Most modern day physicists oppose the idea of time travel and Stephen Hawking one of the greatest minds of the 21st century once claimed he had empirical evidence against it. If time travel existed, he said, then we would have been visited by tourists from the future. Yet we see no tourists from the future. Ergo: time travel is not possible. However, due to the enormous amount of work done by theoretical physicists within the last five years or so, Hawking has since changed his mind, and now believes that time travel is possible (although not necessarily practical). When we view the universe in terms of empirical science we discover that it can take Millions, Billions, and in some cases Trillions of light years for the light of distant stars to reach the earth so the universe that we perceive is the universe of the past not the present. When we also break down and look at the birth and evolution of the universe on a scale of a 24 hour period, humanity would have been born 10 seconds ago. Therefore, some intelligent life in far off galaxies could have had an evolutionary head start in terms of Millions, Billions, and in some cases Trillions of years before life as we know it existed on earth. Some scientist would also go as far as to say that in far off galaxies intelligent life my have evolved without a DNA structure which is essential for intelligent life to exists on our planet. There could be intelligent life in distant galaxies that evolved far beyond our comprehension because of their lack of DNA and due to the vastness of the universe incapable or unwilling to visit our planet. There are also scientists that postulate that some of the so called UFO sighting if they actually occurred may be our descendants from millions or billions of years in our future. Some scientist conclude that the description of the so called alien visitors from highly publicized UFO accounts give the aliens a DNA structure and with a DNA structure the aliens had to have evolved on earth not some far off galaxy. If these aliens in fact exist their advanced technology is most likely advanced future technology not technology from distant galaxies according to some scientist. I personally do not believe in UFO's but I do believe in intelligent life throughout our universe. When you consider how far evolved we have become as human being in only three and half million years we can presuppose that some intelligent life in the universe evolved far beyond our comprehension. Some intelligent life could have possibly evolved into spiritual beings due to billions and in some cases trillions of years of evolution. This is also where science and spirituality are beginning to merge and compliment one another in our pursuit for universal truths. Some scientists can also intuit an evolutionary order to all life in general not void from universal karmic law. Humanity is simply evolving, physically, consciously, and spiritually within an evolving universe that is governed by physical and spiritual (Karmic Law) universal laws. Therefore, there are no accidents when it comes to the evolving universe and no accident to our intricate interconnected role as a conscious evolving living being within the universe. We as self conscious beings can intuit that there are physical and spiritual universal laws that not only govern our own individual evolution but humanities evolution and the evolving universe as a whole.
