Posted by lynn today while visiting an aunt and a close friend of mine, my three year old daughter informed her (aunt & friend)that she saw "Jessie" when asked "who is Jessie?" she replied, "your mom" meaning her aunt's mother. What concerns me is that aunt's mother died in 1997, way before my daughter was born.and the fact that her name was Brenda, not Jessie. If this is true, what are the signs?

question:
Brenda or (Jessie) would be my daugher's grandmother on her fathers' side.
My friend informed me that it was not a bad thing, Josie will probably not speak about it often to me, and don't make her stop talking to her deceased grandmother or discourage it because it would be amazing if Josie was able to speak to the deceased
and the reason she called her by "Jessie" could just be a pet name for her grandmother.
Is this true?
I want more information on this subject of kids speaking to the deceased
Does my 5 month old see her grandmother too?
